Academy Award-winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh picked up a three-bedroom Tribeca condominium unit for $8.3 million.

The 3,100-square-foot duplex at 7 Harrison Street features a landscaped garden and a staircase, the New York Daily News reported.

The director, who helmed “Traffic,” “Magic Mike” and the “Ocean’s Eleven” trilogy, put two apartments in Chelsea and Tribeca on the market for $11 million total last year. The condo at 155 Franklin Street sold for $5.5 million.

Compass’ Leonard Steinberg, who is marketing the 12-unit building, had the listing. Clarion Partners and Matrix Development converted the property from a warehouse. [NYDN]Mark Maurer
