BlackHouse Development managing partner Sean Ludwick pleaded guilty to assault and battery  as well as destruction of property less than $250 in Martha’s Vineyard last year.

According to a police report filed in court and cited by the Vineyard Gazette, Ludwick, while staying in Edgartown, Mass., struck his girlfriend, ripped the phone out of the wall as she tried to call the police and hit her with the phone. During the altercation, Ludwick reportedly also broke down a bathroom door.

After he admitted to sufficient facts on the charges, the developer of the 56-room Hotel Americano in Chelsea was ordered to pay a $50 per victim assessment fee, a $50 monthly probation services fee and $1,478 in restitution.

Ludwick appeared in court in February 2014 after allegedly sneaking into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment, upon finding out that she was dating someone new, and drawing penises on paintings he had made.

Last week, The Real Deal reported that Chinese developer Kuafu Properties is moving to cut all ties with Blackhouse as well as Siras Development, a firm founded by Ludwick’s former partners Saif Sumaida and Ashwin Verma. The three firms are planning to build a 47-story hotel and condominium in Hudson Yards. [Vineyard Gazette] — Claire Moses
